Hi, I am Dr. Shounak Chakraborty and welcome to my homepage. I have joined this institute as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, on July 6, 2018. My brief bio is as follows:

PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, in 2018
M.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University Chennai in 2011
B.Tech. in Computer Sciennce & Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology (currently known as MAKAUT), in 2009

Previous work experience: July, 2011 to December, 2011: Assistant Professor at Dept. of CSE, Future Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata (W.B.)

Research Interests:

My research interests are broadly in the domain of computing systems with current focus on the following areas:

  • High Performance Computer Architecture
  • Memory Technologies
  • Multi-core Caches
  • Energy & Thermal Efficiency
  • Task Migration
  • SoC Design
