Hello, welcome to my home page. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati.

Research Interests:

My current research focus is on Machine Learning models for Embedded Systems and Photonic Interconnects for Manycore Architectures.

I am mainly interested in developing ML models for biomedical signal acquisition for the former, and
designing area constrained high performance 2D/3D interconnect architectures for the latter.

Some other areas that I have worked in the past are:
Electronic Design Automation for Photonic Multicore ICs,
FPGA based system design,
Glue Logic Development for open source VLSI digital system design tools, and
Embedded systems for medical electronics (involving high power RF Electrosurgical and Shortwave Diathermy).


I teach two theory courses:
Digital Design (EC101), and
Embedded Systems (EC381).

I supervise three laboratory courses:
Digital Design Lab (EC110),
VLSI Design Lab (EC362), and
Embedded Systems Lab (EC382).
