The first convocation of the Institute was held on 15th May 2018 at ITA Machkhowa, Guwahati. Degrees were awarded to students who graduated in 2017 and 2018. Prof. Gautam Biswas, Director IIT Guwahati was the Chief Guest and Shri Ranjt Borthakur, Businessman from Assam was the Guest of Honour. Degrees were awarded to the following number of students:
