If you graduated from one of the top colleges in India or abroad or are simply bored with your current job and/or would like to build up a CV for applying abroad for higher studies, then you are welcome to apply. This requires longer commitment for at least a year to two.

    • 4. PhD Student: These positions are typically between 3-5 years long, depending on research outcomes, prior qualification and experience. If you enjoy working hard, you like a challenge, and it makes you happy when you deliver, then PhD is right for you. Funding opportunities are often advertised on the institututes website. However, self-financed or people who have external funding from other government/ private agencies are also eligible to apply.

    • NB: Performance oriented fundings (through collaborators) may be available for researchers involved in projects of typically 4-6 months duration. For more information, send an email stating your interest (from the above) along with your CV.
