About

Dr. Shovan Barma is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG). Before, he was appointed as Assistant Professor in Dept. of ECE, IIITG in August 2016. He did his PhD at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan in 2015 followed by Post Doctoral Fellow at University of Macau till July 2016. He received M. Tech in VLSI Technology and B. Tech Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, West Bengal and Kalyani Government Engineering College respectively. Dr. Barma's research activities involve Biomedical Signal and Image Processing,  Machine Learning and AI-Based Product Development. He is the founder of Precise Medication Research Pvt.
